School Certificate exams were from Monday to today! Year 10 course is finally over! I’m surprisingly not that relieved :S Maybe that’s because I have maths tutoring today.. 3 hours. blah. I only had computer skills today.. got home at 11 even though I dropped by QVB to buy stuff from Lush.
The older years ramble on about how easy SC is, and how its a joke & you don’t need to study & how they never did. But truthfully? They’re all filthy hypocrites. OF COURSE they studied & fretted about it as we all did this past week. English was.. English. Science was a piece of cake.. didn’t require any knowledge at all. Maths was harder than I was expecting & harder than any of the past papers.
It’s amazing how fast people are at making FB groups.. the afternoon of the science exam, there was a group called “I wish geology was as easy as chocolate in jelly” hahahaha only year 10s would get that.
I’m going to try to keep this going since I’m too lazy to write by hand in a journal. I know that if I don’t keep a record of things, I’ll be really very regretful. I wish I’d written more diary entries when I was little.. -_-
Work experience week is next week! I’m going to the animal hospital/faculty of veterinary science @ USYD. :) I got an email from the project officer with my schedule :D I’m really excited now! I’m gonna be wearing a uniform all week.. might include scrubs ;D I’m actually happy about that cause now I don’t need to fret about what to wear every morning!
Next week; work experience, film festival
Next next week; formal, AFS JENESYS orientation (which clashes with my primary school reunion!)
This time next month, I’ll be in JAPAN! I’ll be blogging about my trip on here & sharing photos and stuff.
This time next next month, I’ll be in Korea! I don’t know which trip I’m more excited about.. both countries are foreign to me. Yes, I’m Korean; and yes blood is thicker than water, but my brain is dominant over my heart. There are a lot of customs that are going to take a while for me to get used to.. especially hand gestures.. I’m always put on a spot in Korean restaurants when I’m paying cause the workers do the hand-on-inner-elbow thing and I’m never sure if I’m expected to do the same back. :S
